as far as what can't be counted for wii software i agree wii play should not be counted because people are buying it for a controller and then they are like oh hey a 10 dollar game with a controller, thats only ten bucks, may as well get it. the controller is the main purchase and wii play is just a little add-on.
links crossbow training most certainly does count because its a game (granted a cheap one) that comes with a crappy piece of plastic that doesn't do anything and is not actually needed in any game and basically serves no purpose. so the game is creating the sales more than a piece of plastic.
wii sports japan sales should be counted and its tough to say whether others and NA sales should be counted. cuz many people get a wii BECAUSE of wii sports. that game alone has sold millions of wii's so you can certainly make an argument for including it in the game sales.
also you have to take out any bundles associated with the 360 and ps3.
end of '08 predictions: wii - 43 million, 360 - 25 million, ps3 - 20 million
Games I've beat recently: Super Mario Galaxy, Knights of the Old Republic, Shadow of the Collossus
