PS4/Vita remote play. Constant disconnects. What's up?

Likely it will work better that way without connecting issues, since the PS4 is the connection and not the internet itself. I say to try it out

If I am in the same room as the PS4 everything seems fine. When I am in the room with the router (2 rooms over) I have issues.
