I dont understand. The numbers sales for Ps4 is 90% down at games and hardware???

It is completely sold out in the US. Expect it to go up again in the US next week and massively up WW due to the EU launch.

If it doesnt I will be forced to assume CBOAT had the wrong console... yield issues!!!

what a dick he/she has turned out to be.

Will you be forced to admit that Sony reserved units this week to have the most stock possible for Black Friday if it becomes true??

Not at all. Why would they hold stock?  whats the point?  I see no advantage... none.

Having at least some stock available in stores, on the busiest shopping day of the year, is absolutely an advantage.  Hardcore fans will search all over the place day and night for a unit, but they're almost guaranteed to come eventually so they're less of a priority than the casual buyer who just happens to be at the mall on BF.

Not if you will sell out reardless.  You may as well sell out week 2 as week 3. There is no advantage to Sony in doing this... None.

Wjat you are saying is lets hold back stock from week 2 (from hardcore gamers) and sell them week 3 to casual gamers potentially looking for a bargain (that they wont get on a PS4)... why!?  Sell it to the hardcore gamer week 2 and hope the casual one picks up a ps3 in a deal week 3 makes far more sense.

I have no retail experience whatsoever so purely speculation on my part, but I would think that in Sony's mind they know that those hardcore gamers will buy a PS4 eventually.  For Black Friday they'd be more concerned about those casual buyers picking up X1's rather than PS3's, so they would want to have as much stock as possible to counteract that.

It's all about the game.
