Good to finally see the 8. gen graph. It is pleasing to see Nintendo on top once again. It should stay that way for a long time.
Nintendo: 41.9 million hardware sales
Sony: 7.7 million hardware sales
Microsoft: 1.2 million hardware sales
This gives Nintendo 82% marketshare, with Sony in a modest second place with 15% marketshare. Microsoft ends up dead last at only 2% marketshare.
8. gen is looking good for Nintendo in hardware terms. Soon we will see how it looks like in software terms. I expect it to look even better.
