I'm surprised no one has made a Poland joke yet.
OT: That's crazy, I will never understand people who behave like this, same goes for people who sleep out in line for days to get movie tickets, stand outside in the rain for a game's midnight release or generally act as if an item or commodity will ensure their continued survival.
