Surely, but alas, for the first months supply limits will prevent us from having totally meaningful infos, even the worst seller will enjoy greater demand than offer during the early adoption phase. Also, I'm quite sure Ninty will manage to bring Wii U to decent yearly sales, and this will help 8th gen to eventually become bigger than 7th, at least for home consoles.
But luckily for the whole gaming world, things are surely white-hot from the start.
