sorry, i missed the prefix "un". I won't engage a pointless discussion here but to put it short: ps4 price is not good, wii u is $100 less with 2 games and bellow the magic $300 tag = good price. wii u is last gen in what? not in graphics or games or nothings. upgrade for ps4/xone? all they have is current gen games with more detail, and i'm not talking about the ports. paying 400/500 dollars to play the same thing should not be considered a good upgrade. |
Cool.
PS4 price is perfect, the sales show it. Wii U is overpriced, the sales show it. You can't compare $400 of PS4 to $300 of Wii U just by numbers ignoring the value of the package. It's like you were saying $200k for a Ferrari is too much while saying that an Alfa Romeo Giulietta for $150k is a good purchase. It doesn't work that way. You don't buy a console for the next 3 months, but for the next 5-6 years and that is why Wii U can't justify this price. It's not future proof and can't be considered the main gaming console for anyone who isn't a massive Nintendo fanboy. Also $300 has never been the "magic" tag. $199 is and has always been the magic pricepoint.
Wii U is too much like last gen. The whole online is taken from the iceage. No accounts, games tied to a console, no trophies, 32 GB of storage. Graphics look like last gen on steroids instead of next gen. Again, look at Infamous: Second Son, The Order 1886, Titanfall, etc. These are next gen games coming. You don't buy a console just for now, it's a purchase for quite a few years.
Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!
My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/
My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.
