Does Catherine PS360 have a time limit in the puzzle stages? (Do I fail If I am to slow?)

Yes, in away. Sometimes you are chased and need to reach the top before you get cough. I really can't remember if it's ever stage but i don't think it is. It's been awhile sense I've played the game.
