Sod it, just port Virtua Striker over to XBLA in europe please.

As much as I defend and implore people to try out Sega's lesser known IP's, there would literally be zero point to this. Nobody in their right mind would want to play a port of a 15 year old no-name football game. That's like asking Konami to port PES4 to XBLA and PSN.

Virtua Striker was very popular in the arcades in the UK.

There might not be a market over for it in NA, but there sure as hell would be in the EU.

No name football game? are you sure you are in the UK?

Virtua Striker is already available on JAP xbla, so why not just give it the people who are most passionate about football (the EU folk)

You can still find Virtua Striker Acrade cabinets to this day in plenty of arcades in london.

I'm talking from the perspective of the mass market, I personally don't have a negative opinion towards the Virtua Striker games, but it certainly didn't prize anyone away from playing FIFA on their consoles in the long run, even back during the glory days of Segaworld/Trocadero in Piccadilly Circus (and again, I was more of a ISS/PES guy back then). We have about as much chance as getting it as North America does of getting an NBA2K2 port.

Interesting that you mention it's on the Japanese XBLA though, but maybe that's just Japan... being Japan, I'm sure there were even a few Baseball games on the Saturn that sold well there.
