2. Most of the games you mentioned won't have much of am impact in individual terms. They might turn out to be fantastic but that's something else entirely.
3. Your rationale here sounds like guesswork. I'm not saying you're wrong, it's just that you're giving nothing concrete to back up what you're saying. You don't stop people from talking with conjecture, you stop them with numbers.
I actually agree that the Wii U will probably end up as a mild success. I also think that people, including Nintendo fans, need to get used to the idea that Nintendo home consoles might be niche machines as long as they maintain specifications far off the other consoles. There is no shame in being "third"--in fact, people need to stop thinking that this "race" is the most important aspect of the video-game business.
