If you're not decided, buy a PS3 (not a typo!)
So many games to play and some really great deals, I saw a 500GB PS3 with The Last of Us, Beyond and Uncharted 3 for £200 (I think they were those games), that's such a better deal than a £350 PS4 or £429 Xbox One
There's such a good back library, that you'll be kept happy for another year or so until Uncharted and many others come to PS4
As for next-gen, I'm getting a PS4 because it's made by Sony, their studios did all the convincing for me. I would recommend it to others for the same reasons (and plenty others)
