I agree with this the ps4 is lock, to be the console winner in japan, much cheaper and smaller then the ps3 when it first came and no real competition, it should easily exceed ps3 lifetime sales and it will be have every third party game on the console.


It's going to vastly outsell the PS3 with the same franchises as the PS3 (just 6 years older now)? I'd love to see that trick get pulled off. 

Japanese devs are moving away from consoles, even the big ones.  

Japanese kids are all about their smartphones now and Japanese game consumers never gave a crap about graphics to begin with. I mean look at the top 5 Japanese franchises -- 2D Mario, Pokemon, Dragon Quest, Monster Hunter, Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, and Final Fantasy ... only the Final Fantasy games really have great graphics, the rest are games that could run fine on a 12 year old PS2.
