Vita has a market though : Japan.

 

A pretty small one, 20k being a "good week" would be considered terrible a few years ago there. Its market is basically being the 3DS' punching bag. 

Wii U will have an equivalent market in the US. 

 

I think you are not aware of the Vita situation in Japan, it will get more and more system seller, that will make a  difference.

PS4 will also help.

 

3DS is an other thing.
