If you aske me, they should've left the "super guide" just the way it was and not have made it this easy. I know a lot people (namely kids) might not be able to beat these levels but it might not be as fun with the suit itself since you can just zip through it like that.

It is actually a bit different: Yes, your are invincible with the white Tanooki souit HOWEVER: You can still die when fall into a pit.
Honestly: I´m not bothered by this at all. I won´t use it, I´m not forced to use it. If someone wants to, he she can. There is nothing wrong with options.
And I prefer this approach to making the whole game super easy (the special worlds are supposed to be pretty hard).
What would have offended me yould have been a "skip this level for 1$" function.
