You're so generous. I would have gone with unrealistic or even wreckless.
But the thing about making kooky predictions or giving minority opinions like this is that if you're wrong, nobody cares and if you're right (like picking a 100-1 underdog) you come off looking like some brilliant soothsayer who knows better than everyone else.
