Haha that guy on youtube just doesn't understand the business side of the gaming industry ..... he obviously spend way to much time playing video games. It's not like the white tanooki pop up after one failure and for most gamers the white tanooki suit would be cheating and will just ignore it. But, for casual player where the option is between get frustrated and stop playing or using the white tanooki suit it's actually very useful.
Hardcore gamers must understand that super hard hardcore games would only sell to a small non-profitable niche.
I love the white tanooki suit it allows Nintendo to increase the difficulty level that make me love the game without losing the casual market. Personally, I would never use it, but if my girlfriend, sister or my nephew are playing, I can tell them just wait for the white tanooki suit it will get you pass that area your struggling with right now
