Everybody agrees with this on the internet, except the people that are emotionally invested with MS/Sony. The Wii U clearly has the superior lineup and will remain like that for at least the next 2 years.

Debatable.. The PS4, Xbox One and Wii U all have an excellent lineup next year.

Multiplats; Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Destiny, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Theif, Watchdogs, Wolfenstein: The New Order, Star Wars Battlefront, Tom Clancy's The Division, The Evil Within, The Crew.

And the maybe(s); Final Fantasy XV, Cyberpunk 2077.

I think you missed the point of my comment. The Wii U by next year will have available those games that you commented, besides Fire Emblem x SMT, Yarn Yoshi, New super mario bros U, new super luigi u, pikmin 3, super mario 3d world, lego city, zelda wind waker HD, the wonderful 101, Wii sports club ...

Is not like all the games released in this year are just going to disappear. Nor nintendo will stop making games. I would expect at the very least 5 more anouncements from them in the upcoming months that are going to be released in 2014.

The new consoles have a lot of catching to do before they are even close to the Wii U in terms of quality games.

Sorry.. misread your post. Thought you meant lineup for next year.

Still, the PS4/Xbox One have only just launched so of course the lineup is not going to be as good as the Wii U. Its had a good 12 month headstart in building its library. Honestly though, it's a bit early calling judgement calls on these kinda things..

And calling the Wii U library the best in quality is pretty much all subjective. All next gen consoles will have great games on them over the next few years, it just depends on what you like.
