Not to mention it will have mod support anyway.
You only have to look at what Mods have done to Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim and the plethera of game breaking bugs they have fixed, not to mention solved in regards to gameplay mechanics.

Plus, if you look at Chris Robert's last game "freelancer" mods like Discovery Freelancer have kept that game alive and kicking and fixed up allot of stuff too! In-fact Chris Roberts has a brilliant track record of solid games, so it's not like people's faith in it is unfounded.

This, is just an example of PC gamers getting behind someone that is willing to support the PC and stick it to the greedy publishers. :P
