Looks like Sony fans just got a cold hard splash of reality... like it or not, COD is a system seller. Were you honestly expecting any of the PS4 exclusives to do numbers like that? Killzone was never that big of a shooter series, Knack is a joke, and the rest of the retail launch lineup consists of ports of current-gen games.

Call of Duty selling your system is a cold reality lol? I sure bet Nintendo would love to have CoD's system selling ability.

COD was/is a system mover for the Xbox and PlayStation platforms both this gen and last.  Nintendo's audience is not the same as COD's target audience... hence the reason why BLOPSII and Ghosts have sold abysmally on the Wii U, despite both being stellar ports and offering all the same features as their PS360 counterparts.

Even quality non-FPS 3rd party titles like Assassin's Creed 4 have sold a mere fraction on Wii U of what their PS360 counterparts sell.  Loyal Nintendo fans always complain about the lack of third party support on their consoles, but the fact is they never ever put their money where their collective mouths are when push comes to shove.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
