That would be the case only if the player's motivation is to get all of the endings.

I also personally consider ending D to be the true ending, and by extension the most desireable one of them all.

Yea, but if you save right before the boss of the game, ending C and D can both be earned simply by loading that save and beating the boss again (well the end game segment leading to the boss too).

Plus if you're beating the game for the 3rd time, chances are you have the incentive to see all the endings.

Anyway.....we just disagree. Everyone has their own tastes right?

P.S. reading this thread really makes me want to play XenoGears. I'm definitely going to do that in 2014, I want to beat it before X releases.
