No matter what, I'm dead certain that the game will be shown at E3 2014. It may even be announced before then, if Nintendo wants people to continue buying Wii U consoles after the holiday season is finished.

That is certain, but releasing late 2014 is a bit of a stretch. Nintendo are still struggling with HD development and the chances of it getting delayed are rather high. So far we have had W101, Pikmin 3, DK:TF, and Wii Fit U delayed.

Don't forget Wii Party and Game & Wario! As for Zelda U releasing in 2014, my reasons for saying yes is that they were gonna unveil it at E3 2013 and they've made a point of not making us wait too long for games after they're announced. Every other game unveiled at E3 will be releasing by the end of 2014, so why not Zelda aswell.
