Nintendo could be preparing Zelda for a holiday 2014 release. It's unusual for a console Zelda game to take more than three years to develop.

Didn't SS take far longer?

It did. However, Nintendo spent two years in the R&D phase, and Skyward Sword actually began full production after Spirit Tracks came out in 2009.

With ALBW and (especially) WWHD's development farmed out to other dev teams, I think late 2014 is completely doable.

Well then I'll take your word for it, still I wonder if it's big enough? I don't remember SS doing huge numbers like smash, mk, nsmb ect?

Personally if they have Zelda coming, they should release it in September, and then Smash in November. The smaller stuff like Bayo, X ect in the summer when it doesn't get lost in the mix.
