I haven't completed it yet since I've been busy but from what I've played so far the story is weak, the single player campaign is lacking shooting segments, the game is still rather linear compared to what they were promoting, and the multiplayer is lacking game modes. Even with customizable warzones it still feels like it should have come with operations, maybe another mode, and more objective types for warzones than what they have.

Basically, Guerrilla Games is the kind of company that can't be rushed and unfortunately they were on a deadline to have it ready to go by launch with a focus on making it as pretty as possible. The single player would have likely still suffered a bit but the multiplayer would have likely been a lot more robust for the same price. It was a graphical showcase for the console.

I think they need a change of pace and new writers though. A step away from first-person shooters and going into a genre they haven't done yet might give them a stronger perspective and more experience. They've shown in the past that they have what it takes to be a top ranking studio within Sony. I just don't think they've found their real calling yet.
