Majora's Mask

#42 - The end of a trilogy. One of the biggest complaints to this game is that the ending is very definite, and leaves no room for sequels. As a result they made a pre-quel to this franchise afterward, which was terrible.

God of War 3

#41 - Another end of a trilogy. The complaint for this game was that regardless of how you played the trilogy, you still saw one of 3 endings.

Mass Effect 3

#46, 43, and 41 - Yes

#42 No, but to be fair, when I wrote my hint I knew that it also perfectly worked for God of War 3. The game I'm hinting at ended the trilogy in much the same manner, with every possible threat/villian, dead.
