I really don't think I need to empty my head. There are only three things that I'd say I'm truly qualified on. Game development (I'm a game developer), twisty puzzles(I hold many world records on Rubik's cubes. Even nerdier than video games but I love them), and 3D/VR(I started designing light field displays when I was 8 or so. Built my first working prototype at 13) Not trying to impress you, but just express that I know what I'm talking about. Have you experienced head tracking for a 3D effect? It's certainly cool, but no it's not even close to feeling 3D compared to stereoscopic 3D. |
Thats a bit cool.. nice :)
The reason i say emty your head, was becurse i can see that you are tinking at it the wrong way.. I'm not talking about 3d.. i'm talking about VR.. Virtual reality.. A display infront of the head that changes with the momment..
Let's take Mariokart.. see the (headmontered gyro controlled screen) game from fps.. (not seing the car but the track) And you drive forword and look forword.. that would mean that the track would apear just like normal when we go into the divers view in racing games.. right.. (like looking in the tv screen.. like it is now).. ?
BUT if you then imagine that you continue to drive forward (nunchuk) and you then turn your head.. If the game has set the head momement to motion+ that would mean that you could.. Turn and see you friends avatar, trow a red turtle and then look forward again..
Thats what i mean by Wii-R.. being in a 3d world (on a 2d screen) where the hole world respond to me and where i look..
