I agree, Sony is doing well at the moment. The company has carried the momentum (and lessons) from the second half of PS3's life well into the PS4.

200million is crazy, mind.

For some realistic predictions:
Wii U - 30million lifetime (sorry, I have one but I can't see it getting better than that)
PS4 - 100 million (a good, solid amount. If PS3 managed 80mil+, with its huge price, terrible launch, and lack of early games, and the same gen as Wii... PS4 should top it).
Xbox One - 65million. Good, a solid amount, but PS4 will beat it clearly it thanks to a resurgent PS brand in Europe and much better momentum out the gates in America. Xbox 360 had a year head start and a great first few years... and PS3 and 360 are level now. This time, PS will start ahead and stay ahead.

Do you expect a drop of almost 100M in consoles??? Let's not forget Vita drag and 3DS not tracking above DS that we will maybe see a 50M drop in handheld or more... that isn't very reasonable...

Now that you point it out... yeah, pretty much. Let's not forget how this gen was, and will always be, very different - almost certainly very different to next-gen.

Wii was a phenomenon. Unlikely to be repeated. But going back one gen..everyone and his dog had a PS2, but total sales for all three were 150+20+20=190. My predictions put next-gen (PS4, X1 + Wii U) at selling 195million, so slightly up on the PS2 gen. And I wouldn't be shocked if the figures were all slightly higher (e.g. 110mil PS4/75mil X1, 40mil Wii U) to make it clear growth over that gen. Bearing in mind, once you take Wii out, PS3/X360 only made 160mil sales together, so this seems right.

Also, this was a very long gen. I think it's clear MS and Sony aren't looking to make the gen as long this time around, so that has to be factored in, too.

I stand by my predictions 100%
