But I can say putting PSN over xbox live is very discrediting. I had a ps3 in my house long enough to know, downloads, updates playing online all sucked ass next to xbox live. don't know about how far they have come but I really doubt it's even on the same level at this point.

yeah, he seems to be completely off-base in what he thinks words mean. Plus...PSN 'noticeably' worse than XBL? Naw. Not at all. Downloads were slower, sure, but not by enough to really have an issue with it. Both were equally stable when playing online, I found.
And I don't know why people think his assessment is unfair. yeah, it's subjective, but every single thing the OP mentioned is completely valid, and relatively free of bias. He has preferences, sure, but that doesn't mean bias.
