Didn't he kill his mom, once? She survived. Brian will, too. Makes me want to watch the episode now, though. I DVR it every week but I don't always look at the recording. Tonight, I will...after the Walking Dead.

not trying to spoil much but the way brian dies leaves no wiggle room like Louis

Yeah no wiggle room is relative the possibilty for time travel is giving every writer infinite freedom to explain anything. even if stewie can`t build another time machine right now he just has to obtain the capacitors or get a new brilliant genius idea. Or he can regrow Brian from the DNA he found on floor of the house. Or parallel universes or whatever crazy explanation. maybe he destroys the universe and just sends his knowledge to a second stewie that came in the another universe thats exactly the same.

There is nothing you can not explain in a series like family guy. The easiest way he would aimelessly wander around where he destroyed his time machine and the thing he needs lies on the floor damaged but with the possibility to repair it or what we saw is a vision of things to come and stewie just wanted to know if he could stand another dog but decides to rescue brain. Or maybe Brain is really dead and they replaced him with another character because the viewers do not like him anymore.

yeah time travel is always a possibility, i was just refering to how when Lois died in the "simulation" episode she fell of the boat and her body wasn't recoverd making it plausible for her to come back, while Brain just got ran over by a car...then slowly passed away on the hospital bed
