The 7th generation ain't over with the start of the 8th generation.
1/4 of the PS2 sales happened AFTER the PS3 launch, so please don't compare 150 million PS2 to 80 million PS3.
Compare ~115 million (PS2 sales until PS3 launch) to 80 million (PS3 sales until PS4 launch) or wait a few years... they will sell many millions of PS3s the next years.
