Sony and Microsoft might have made less overall, but they destroyed Nintendo in overall third party sales.

If you look at this long term, then Sony and Microsoft may have fared better (for their future business) but if you isolate the 7th gen and look at that, Wii was the most profitable one (for it's manufacturer) by far. That's all I'm saying.
