It's more along the lines of how the supply is allocated; Sony allocated a certain number to NA launch and they have allocated a certain number to launches elsewhere. Where did anyone claim that Sony sold all their stock in the NA launch? I doubt anyone on this forum has the exact information of when production started on each system, the amount produced, and how much they each had for launch. So unless we have more information, it is really hard to claim otherwise. The fact is they both sold around a million units at their initial launches; other than nitpicking the little things, one million units for one company is not greater than one million units for another company. Xbox sold well over what most on this site hoped for; the only reason to downplay this is based on one's agenda and bias. |
Foolish spin... Sony sold what MS did in 13 countries in MS strongest territory. JHad both had the same stock available sony would haver sold mroe period...
1 million in the US alone is far more impressive then 1 million in 13 territories, with x1 not ebven being sold out.
