You can't judge the DRIVING PHYSICS and the IMPULSE TRIGGERS in the same sentence... one just invalidates the other.

If the IMPULSE TRIGGERS are something that make you fell better on Forza 5 then you need to stop to play any simulator racing and start to play arcades racing.

But I know some guys that like the "rewind" feature and says they are simulator racing fans... contradictory.

A) I hav a family with 2 young children. I cant always set up my wheel.

B) Not everyone can afford it.

he physiccs are  clearly in adifferent league to last gen. After extensive play tats obvious.


You cannot judge physics without  wheel...

 

Forza 5 doesnt even match GT5's physics let alone PC sims.. It is NOT a true sim it is a arcade sim hybrid..Gt6 with its new tire model, suspension, physics without aids is on par with the best PC sims, Forza is simply not even trying for that level of realism..It's why Despite forza doing some things better then GT in the past...Real sim fans but GT, its physics and handling, attention to detail, with every car handling like it should, are unmatched on console..GT6 is more nex gen then forza.

 

Sim sites reviewing Forza are disappointed for a reason.

Say what ever you think. I dont care. Ive played both. Forza 5's physics are way better. Forza 4 is the same. Its rubbish in comparison. Theres calcculations the old consoles simply cant do due to massively outdated hardware. 

Its all good. While you fight over last gen physics I'll just enjoy my xbox one. Best electronic device Ive  ever bought.

Trying to judge physics without a wheel is like trying to read brail with boxing gloves on. No one is saying that the game needs to be ultra realistic for it to be good or fun. The game is fun, but without a wheel it is impossible to declare FM5 "realistic". I've said it before and I'll say it again, Forza 5 feels just like Forza 4 except the cars slide a bit more.

 

Edit: You keep bringing up these "calculations" without ever giving even a shred of evidence or even an example as to what you're talking about. I'm sorry but with nothing more than some P.R. fluff from Turn 10 I have to call B.S.

Yep forza 5 physics are near identical to 4, and neither are really sim. Forza is a game that tries to be a sim and arcade. It's physics and handling are not on par with GT or PC sims, never were.


you should really check out the amount of work that went into the Sim aspects of forza 4, their tire information was compiled from months and months of research from perelli I think it was, they pretty much completely rewrote how the cars react with each changing grain of tarmac. It's a joy to play and the sound is second to none in terms of how they captured each engine.
