You'd be better off getting a Wii U now and getting a PS4 next year. The Wii U has a far superior game library and plenty of games are as cheap as chips, you'll avoid any PS4 launch hardware issues, you'll have the benefit of several PS4 firmware updates and this time next year the PS4 will have a much better game library than it does now and plenty of those games will be as cheap as chips. Plus you may see the benefit of a PS4 price cut. Now is a great time to buy a Wii U and a bad time to buy a PS4 imo.
