I'm pretty sure wii u sales will be up following the release of 3d world (even if only slightly), as it has been evertime a good game has been released this year, so yes they do.
ps4 and xb1 are selling presently without good games based on hype which Im sure will level out (though not necessarily stop completely)after xmas then they too will need some decent games to keep pushing consoles.
The thing is it doesn't always just take one game...sometimes it requires a steady stream.
