I posted a story from Kotaku.  Why am I getting bashed as if I'm the one that said they were showing a lack of class initially?

its the reason you posted, which is very obvious. you arent fooling anyone. This threads goal is to flaimbait other users. its obvious the article is full of bullshit, kotaku posted it to get hits. but why did you post it?

Because I thought some of the PS fans, like in the comments on Kotaku, would be disappointed and demand better of Sony's representatives (which was fortunately showed later, most likely due to bad PR).

And there is nothing factually wrong about the article.  Nothing.  Several respectable PR reps from Sony reciprocated the congrats later, and that was classy and awesome.  Doesn't change what Kotaku called out though.

Oh, and many in the thread need to remember this:  http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=5736361

you actually expect me to believe that nonesense? there is nothing actually wrong with the picture sony posted, as it does represent the truth. most games on the PS4 are 1080p while they are not on the xbox one. however sony did remove it just after 20 minutes. do you want me to dig up every cheap shot MS, sony or nintendo took at each other? because there would be a whole lot digging up to do. fact is the article is badly written, net pickes information to try make a story out of nothing and ignores all reasonable logic. They brag about how MS congratulated sony but decide to turn their face on the fact that sony did the same. they had to dig up a picture that was removed after 20 minutes just to make a story. so how can you tell me that there is nothing wrong with the article when there clearly it is? as i said its just for hits.

as for the thread here is a quote directly from it

"Signs of a flamebait thread include but are not limited to: adding a gloating or taunting comment at the end of the article, posting irrelevant information (ex.: news from a year ago), plain false information or magnifying a small issue in order to make things seem worst than they really are."
