Ps3 frozen. Can't turn it off.

A switch basically cuts off the power cord into 2.

ON= PS3 _____|_______wall     It does not matter if its inside the PS3phat or

VS           
                         _|_
OFF= PS3____      _____wall

Pulling the plug out of the wall does the exact same thing. So this is what you should do. (if you have an extension use it instead)

Do not pull the plug out of the console tho there is the possibility of damaging it. (part of the cable still having contact the other part not etc... This probably wont happen but dont try it
