I'm not sure what you're getting at here. Microsoft specifically mentioned months ago, after their initial statement that the PS4 could be plugged into the Xbox One, that it probably wouldn't be a good idea to do so due to latency. I'm not sure why anyone would expect this to work all that well, HDMI-in on the Xbox One was clearly designed for lower performance hardware such as cable/satellite boxes and the 360 (which reviewers have noted has much less lag when compared to the PS4 when plugged into the Xbox One). Why would Microsoft delay the Xbox One launch in order to deccrease latency when their competitor is plugged into the system? That would be bad business sense, letting the PS4 get a considerable market share lead for very little benefit (a feature which only a handful of gamers would actually use).

...and now you read the title of the thread again slowly

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
