I'm sorry but you should overthink your spending habits, 60 dollar a night when going out with friends? 10 bucks a movie? Ever heard of Netflix? But even if we disregard this, gaming is not cheap, so looking for one guy that tells you what you want to hear and at the same time ignoring all possible criticism is not a good way to decide if a game is for you. |
yeah I heard of netflix, comparing netflix to a movie in the thetre is like comparing a day at disneyworld with a bike ride in a park.... both can be enjoyable but come on ???? and it's not like netflix is world wide... I get it because I have a router set up with a VPN redirection.... and you still need a connection....
netflix alone cost me 50 bucks a month (if you take the internet connection and VPN sub into consideration, thankfully I use them for other thing than just netflix)
so i'll give you that netflix... which makes it pretty limited....
going out that's why I said 25-50 bucks for a regular joe because you can drink PBR all night at the local dive bar for pretty much a dollar a glass... you add a couple shots to clear the taste and you have 25...
but as soon as you decide to go out properly with actual drinkable adult beverage and be nice with your friend and take a couple rounds on your tab and don't stop until close time in my city which is 7am... 60 bucks is the bare minimum....
I follow my finance pretty closely with excel spreadsheets and other capital management apps/software.... and gaming is a cheap entertainement medium compare to most options especially if you have a familly and don't live like a cheap ass by choice.....
now that said I agree with you, what I said is a positive review from someone that appears to value the same things as you has more value than 20 negative ones.... so a game could be rated with a 50 average if I see a 90 from a person that points out stuff that suit my taste the other can bitch against the game for hours with their poor graphic argument, or slow downs.... and you always have the option to buy used.... which makes gaming even more affordable and therefore you can risk it on more games... I discovered games I loved that way following a single positive review and went pick up the game when it was cheap on the xbox store or at the local gamestop....
