I am pretty sure they helped with everyone who was idle. Not every coder/animator/artist etc always has some work to do. So I prefer this over idle devs creating shitty DLC.
Btw I totally forgot about that 3ds game? Does anything else exist? Name etc? or is it just that picture? Is there some translation out there? My Japanese is shitty :)
