it must be good news if they best thing they have to bash about the ps4 is a 0.4% failure rate.

"I was a little concerned for the consumer's lack of intelligence - when someone tells me they're on their fifth 360"

lol.... like someone above said "You cant buy that kind of loyalty"

I'm on my fourth 360. Microsoft just kept replacing them. What's wrong with that?

THAT is a sign of a shoddedly built product. An issue that would not have existed most likely if they didn't rush it to market just to beat Sony to the punch(even after being warned by their own technicians). If it doesn't bother you i suppose that is fine, but over 30%(probably actually closer to 50) failure rate for any other product would have had it taken off the market. Because its MS who has strong ties into just about everything in the US.....it wasn't. And it relatively was swept under the rug by many media outlets. That is why this was a far more news worthy occurance.

I totally agree that RROD was bad. My comment was focused on "you can't buy that kind of loyalty"
