I've actually seen very little of this, and I feel gutted for those it's happened to as it must be a pretty shit feeling. 100% believe if the tables were switched tho far more Sony 'fans' would be bragging ect. Seen that over the last 6 months.

Completely agree. I dont feel bad at all for Sony fans becuase they have been asking for it. Had they not bashed Wii U a0 nd X1 for every little thing they could, it would be different but no one is going to show them something, that they refuse to show other console owners.
I do feel bad for those with broken ones, but I dont understand why some Sony fans are taking it personally that people are actually having issues with the console.
Its like your insulting their mother to say your PS4 isnt working.
You cant buy that kind of loyalty

It has nothing to do with the people with broken consoles. It has everything to do with the Over-reaction we are seeing from a few media outlets like Kotaku who are trying to make it bigger than what it really is in some effort to tarnish the PS4's launch. Then there are the anti-hype brigade taking the FUD as if it were gospel spelling the destruction of the brand.
People with dead systems assuredly should be taken care of, its just not a wide spread issue or anything.

just 3 days has passed, 0.04% (according to SONY) of 1 million is 40k. That is something to be at the fence (not worries yet) but the frequency and similarities of the issues are very rare for a console. I am not saying spread the word, but at least wait and see what happen.

.04% is only 400 out of 1Million. It seems like a lot but in the grander scheme of things..........it really isnt. What we seem to be forgeting is almost every electronic maintains a certain failure rate throughout its entire life. Its normal as long as it remains under a certain percentage.
Its PS2 failure rate all over again. A few people tried make it seem like it was really bad simply because it was thousands. But it was only thousands out of millions (like 6% or something) of PS2's userbase. Not a big deal.
