Maybe about 10 a year will suffice. That list however in many ways show how one dimensional Nintendo games are.
Leave out Bayonetta and X and what have you got? (Referring to exclusives).

However for Nintendo fans that list is good and with the way things are going for the wii u hopefully they will bring many of those fans back.

The heck are you talking about!? They're all of varying genre's. Platformer, Racing, Fighter, RPG, Action/Adventure, etc. Or what they're all the same now just because they're made by the same company, lol?

1: No, keep your shirt (or skirt) on. Maybe one dimensional was not quite what i meant. My apologizes, too much wine earlier. What i mean is that they have the same cartoony look and gameplay. The same characters keep popping up, DK is in three of those games etc. If that offends you, sorry. It is what it is and it's Nintendo. I like their games.

2: But, are these types of games dying out on home consoles and will most likely have a longer and more fruitful life on the 3DS? Is the reason the wii u is selling so badly is because people are losing interest in these type of cartoony games? This time next year all will be answered.

3: The last bit has absolutely nothing to do with this thread it is just a thought that crossed my mind while i was looking at the list.

1: Are you saying there's something bad about this? Who wouldn't expect all games in a franchise/series to be similar? That's why they're a franchise/series lol! I beleve more people would be pissed off than happy if you completely changed what a franchise was all about, especially if it's just for the sake of being different.

2: Hard to say anything about the games when they're not out yet. Only majorly selling series on Wii U so far is NSMB, but NSMB2 releasing a couple months prior hurt NSMBU's system selling potential, and it's still the only big seller game on the system. No matter how big a game is, it wont be selling very many consoles by itself. Now I know there are other games like Pikmin 3 n such, but titles like those mainly serve to maintain momentum, but due to that nasty drought, the Wii U lost all momentum. I believe it's gonna take another major release to kickstart the Wii U, and SM3DW plus the holiday season should hopefully do that. Then with the 1 exclusive per month thing in 2014, which has major sellers in DKCTF, MK8, SSB4, and ZeldaU, then support titles in between each release like Bayo 2, X, and so ons, momentum from the holidays and SM3DW should be maintained, and the baseline should increase after each major release. Of course that's all just what I expect/hope will happen. If Wii U still sells like crap after all that, then yes it is officially doomed and not even the most insane of fanboys will be able to say otherwise.

3: And yeah I'm not really mad or anything lol.
