PS3 was supply constrained, but so is PS4. Sony managed to ship 1M PS4's and sold them all.

PS3 could have been better, but so could the PS4. So I don't think we have to worry for now.

You are correct, though, that we need to see if the new consoles sustain momentum. I hope they do.
