Wii U gamepad could eventually make use of Wi-Fi for extend range from the console.

It baffles me they haven't done this yet. I have a Wii u and would love if they use it through Wi-Fi. I'm sure no one would complain with this added functionality. The 3 million people who own the system would be very happy if Nintendo allows this option.
