This test has really nothing to do with speed or the browsing experience but instead the supported features within HTML5. This is a good thing that the PS4 browser supports the features at this level.

As for the X1, if it is using the IE 11 or better it will support just as much features so this probably will be a wash no matter what numbers it post.

I believe the real deal is user experience. Typing in a URL with a pad is not something I want to experience on any console. I believe you can use a smartphone with the Apps from both companies but not sure if you can do that with the PS4 within their web browser. You can do this with the 360 so I believe support will be there for the X1. This comes in handy when you want to view stuff on your big screen instead of your phone or tablet.

At the end of the day, I believe these numbers mean nothing for the next gen consoles and it will come down to the experience of navigating the web that makes a difference. In this area, I can see Kinect Voice features making navigation a better experience if done right.
