I think Wii did a very good management of its 1st party games launches: Wii Sports and Wii Play in 2006 ; Mario Galaxy and Wii Fit in 2007, Wii Sports Resort, SSB Brawl and Mario Kar Wii in 2008 ; NSMB Wii in 2009 ; Mario Galaxy 2 and Wii Party in 2010 ; Zelda Skyward Sword in 2011.
To put all their cards on the table in the same year doesn't seem as wise.
