Once again, I don't believe EVERY game needs to run off the hard drive. I believe that was a design choice Sony is forcing all developers to do. Your excuse of the disc drive simply not being fast enough, I don't buy it.

Sony is forcing the developers? Really?

Every developer will be happy, when they don't have to waste their resources to tweak/streamline loading times of the disc versions.

Agreed. But it doesn't appear to be an option, period.

You're basing that on what exactly? It's possible they have the option but I can't see why a developer would bother when they can just have game data on the HDD and loading a lot faster.

The only people this really hurts are consumers who're going to have to purchase new HDDs or manage their game data. Developers are happy with this state of affairs.

Your response is useless.

I'll just repeat myself again, Sony said ALL games must be installed. That leads me to believe developers don't have the option to run games off the disc.

I will believe otherwise if we see a single game with no required install.
