I don't get tired of combat moves in hack and slash but I also hate those pseudo platformer/puzzle moments that just use up my play time when I'm looking to hack and slash nothing else... If I want to do puzzles or platformers I buy a game in that genre like portal or oddworld, rayman, kameo... |
Yes. Hallalujah.
For example in Uncharted it has those stupid segments of platforming. TIt would probably not be to bad if they were hard. Or good like Mario. But they are easy needless filller crap. I spent my entire time playing Uncharted going. Wow that bit was awesome, then going wow that bit was pointless. It was frustrating. Same with GOW3. Take out the needless climb, jump, swing etc. You dont die, its not hard and just repeats repeats and repeats. At least with repeating combat it can be a challenge. Especially on hardest difficulty.
So yeah. If I want a platformer I'll play Banjo Kazooie or Mario 64.
