I hope Nintendo does that next gen. I feel that a new handheld wouldn't be able to keep them in the hardware race anymore. A dedicated gaming phone could work. But if they did it they would need to stop with the clunky designs they often tend to stick with.

Yes, definetely! Maybe they should hire some help from outside the company as well when/if designing a true gaming phone, just to make sure they avoid the usual "Nintendo traps". Make it a smart, easy and sleak looking phone! I'm sure a lot of gamers would buy it. And expand the company before for crying out loud! We don't want any damn droughts on ANY Nintendo systems! :P

They should've expanded last gen. They just have way too few western devs. at this moment, and the two they have are stuck with platformers. It's seems so strange to me when they spend all day long talking about software sells hardware, yet they don't seem to understand that the western audience want a different type of games.
