It's certainly tough. I had to purchase the games from Amazon (actually not too terrible in price) and the initial game was fortunately on XBLA, so that was an easy pickup.
But I'm actually pretty excited for the newest installment. I'll get it for PC (played the first on my brother's now broken X360 
).
